The Harkers have wealth, acclaim, friends in high places… and a reputation as the best werewolf hunters this side of the Atlantic. But Diana wants none of it. After spending her formative years learning how to be a ruthless killing machine, her goals are now to get as far away as possible from her family and their “legacy”.
Blackwell Hollow University was supposed to be her escape into the mundane, but when dead students start appearing, she finds herself sliding back into “the life”. She may hate her family’s legacy, but she’ll need every skill she’s ever mastered to stay ahead of the local detective… and stay alive.
Desperate for progress and not to go down for murders she didn’t commit, she partners up with the cousin of her good friend. It’s bad enough she had to accept help, but their simmering attraction is more distraction than she can afford. What’s more, Xander definitely knows more than he’s letting on.
But then, so does she.
Diana’s Eclipse can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment should be read after Sara’s Moon and Charline’s Solstice.
CW: extreme violence, death.
Reviews
Charline is a force to be reckoned with. Always bursting with cheer and confidence she wields her words like she does her whisk. I loved Charline and David’s love story; even though David’s actions, or should I say inaction, made me want to scream at times. The challenges that they end up facing only serve to make their love that much more meaningful. Wonderful story with some twists that you never see coming. I can’t wait to see what happens in the Moons of Mystery series next!
